The Noahic Covenant (for teens)

 A rainbow is a symbol of God’s Promise that He will not destroy life on earth again by flood. ‘When I bring clouds over the earth and the bow is seen in the clouds, I will remember My promise’ Genesis 9:14,15. But a rainbow usually follows a storm. Wouldn’t the symbol of such a promise be better timed prior to the storm than after? From our perspective, the rainbow follows the storm. Have you ever seen a storm looking down on the clouds from above (from ‘God’s perspective’ 😊)?  Have a look at a ‘glory rainbow.' 


Faith remembers God's Promises and trusts ... even in the middle of the storm.

  Moses’ brother was Aaron, and God chose these two to lead the Jewish people out of Egypt. Aaron and his sons were chosen by God to be His priests. They were the only ones allowed to approach the inner room of the ‘temple’, the dwelling of the Presence of God. Week 3 - the Offices

  Before Jesus was born into this world, God was revealing His plan of salvation to all nations through His workings in and through the Jewish nation. As He worked with Israel as a nation, He worked with individuals, many of which occupied certain positions God had established. People in these positions – prophet, priest and king – ministered on behalf of the people of Israel and pointed to the One. The role of each office could only be truly accomplished by One, the coming Savior  John the Baptist lived in Jesus' time and announced His coming ministry to the people of Israel. He was the last of the 'Old Testament' prophets. The people and the Jewish leaders expected a conquering king or a mighty prophet.
