Noah and the Flood (for teens)

Genesis, the first Book of the Bible, was not written as a science book. It does, however, relate amazing facts about creation that even science does not refute:

1 - there was a beginning. Before scientific support for the 'Big Bang', most scientists believed that the universe existed just as it is now and had no beginning.

2 - the law of biogenesis - attributed to Louis Pasteur, but was first recorded in Genesis chapter one as each plant and animal reproduced 'according to its kind'.

3 - the food chain - begins with plant-life, specifically, 'the green of the plant' with photosynthesis producing carbon chains for food with its byproduct of oxygen from carbon dioxide Genesis 1:30.

4 - cataclysmic events have taken place in the past that have greatly altered life on earth as we know it. Genesis chapters 5-11 record the story of Noah and the flood that had remarkable and lasting affects on our planet. With the catastrophe came salvation of a few survivors ... and a Promise!
