Genealogical Line (for teens)

 Has anyone in your family done the 23andme or ancestry.com genetic workup? The DNA information that make up the chromosomes in each of our cells is remarkable. It can point back to our genetic line, and our DNA translates purpose to each cell of our body. 

Amazingly, if all the chromosomes in one cell of your body were unfolded and stacked end to end, they would extend 6 feet in length. AND if all this genetic code from the four protein nucleotide bases were represented by their first letters A,G,T and C and typed into small font, the information would fill 200 books of 1000 pages typed front and back (Nova Online, 'Cracking the Code of Life')! When my computer science friend from China heard this, he came to the conclusion that there must be a Creator God! 

It's fantastic to think that our Creator God took on a physical body in Jesus to effectively communicate His love to the human race.

'He (Jesus) is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of His nature, and He upholds the universe by the Word of His power'

Abraham and the Lamb

  Abraham and Isaac - Matthew 1:2, Genesis 22 “And Abraham said, ‘God, Himself, will provide  the lamb  for the burnt offering, my son.’ ... Rahab the harlot

Joshua 2 & 6, Matthew 1:5     A red cloth hangs from a window opened high in a stone wall. The city, Jericho, is completely exposed. Its city walls collapsed ... except for one small section, the wall that houses the home of Rahab, the harlot. The refugee nation, Israel, had entered the Promised Land, Canaan, after fleeing Egypt and Jericho was the first city to be conquered. God had instructed the Israelites to march around the city and finally shout aloud.
